Description
ON HOLIDAY – A PLAY ABOUT COVID
Duncan and Sheila are relaxing on holiday by the pool and are having a bit of fun when Sheila receives a call from her mother to say that she has picked up Covid 19 and is now ill. Sheila is horrified, but then goes through things in her mind and realises that her mother shouldn’t be ill as she has been on lockdown at home and never leaves the house. Sheila and Duncan normally do her shopping for her and before they left, Duncan promised Sheila that he would drop the shopping by so she wouldn’t have to go to the shops herself. But then where did she get Covid? Or is Duncan’s story perhaps a lie? In which case, what exactly was he doing that Friday evening? A play about Covid.
