Description
THIS IS JUST PROPHETIC – COMEDY ABOUT A CURSED RELIC
Dutch is a history teacher and oddity collector. Around his home are various knick knacks and each has a story in this comedy about a cursed relic. He has recently become obsessed with an ancient soothsayer named “Highantites.” Through different channels he has gotten :
- What he was TOLD was the very knife the soothsyaer Highantites used for Extispicy to cut the entrails of animals, only to receive it and find the word ‘Ginsu‘ printed on it.
- “Highantites personal Cleromancy stones” only to receive painted rocks.
It’s all very frustrating. He is on the verge of giving up the search when his ex, Ashley, who is also a history buff, surprises him with a relic from an oddity shop that claims to be Highantites Divining Crystal. She knew he had been looking and picked it up just in case. They separated on good terms – it was because of Dutch’s obsessions (his latest one being Highantites) that they couldn’t make it work.
In the midst of discussion Dutch gets a vision from the Crystal that shows Ashley’s death that very day. He freaks out but composes himself because he doesn’t want to scare her but now he has to keep her there so nothing bad happens to her. He calls for back up from Emily, an oddity expert, to figure out how to stop this future from happening. As she is delayed, other people are brought in to help but nobody has any good ideas. These people include a possible priest from an exorcism conglomerate with his colleage and a police officer canvasing the area for a thief. But will they stop the future from happening, save Ashley and also concidentally catch a thief?
