Description
YOU CAN TRY IT – COMEDY ABOUT A MAYBE MURDER, A SEANCE AND GETTING MARRIED
The Judge is dead, survived by his wife Christine, his son Delmore and his daughter, Lorraine. All three family members harbor feelings about the fact the estemed Judge is no longer in this world, because, let’s face it, he wasn’t a very nice guy, especially to his family. Oh, and Christine, his wife, believes she may have killed him with laxatives. Not a good way to go. Now she believes he has come back to haunt her and will continue to punish her for all eternity for what she did in this comedy about a maybe murder, a seance and getting married.
The kids just want to move on with their lives – Lorraine is engaged to the loving Peter but until this whole thing with her mother is settled, she is refusing to get married. Peter’s sister is also ironically dating Delmore, keeping everything in the family! When Daisy wants to go for a nice meal, and hypnotizes Delmore into taking her out, Peter gets the idea to hold a Seance to ‘summon’ the deceased judge and set the record straight so Christine can move on with her life and thus Peter and Sarah can move on with theirs.
What they’re not expecting is a seafaring man with an odd accent, known as Captain Ole Olsen as to appear back in Christine’s life, swearing that he has always loved her.
The day of the seance dawns and the future of everyone’s lives is held in the balance. Will the Dead Judge come back from the dead, and will Christine have killed him? Will the Captain still love a women has done this heinous thing? Will the marriage go ahead and will Peter and Lorraine get what they want?
