Description
PARTY – A CELEBRATION OF LIFE AND DEATH
What if a person passing away wasn’t mourned, but celebrated? What if when a person was about to die, everyone gathered to toast and celebrate their life AND their death? This play focuses on a party that does exactly that and turns the concept of dying being lonely and sad into a time that is happy and supportive. It turns the concept of death on its head, making it more about the person dying than the sadness of the people left behind. A play that celebrates life and death. Maybe it should be this way.
