WOODSTOCK REUNION – AMERICAN FAMILY COMEDY-DRAMA SCRIPT
In Woodstock Reunion, a drama/comedy in two acts, a family comes full circle as they all reunite at the 2019 Woodstock festival, without having planned to do so. Kit and Cressie, mother and daughter, are complete opposites – they hardly get along. With Kit’s cancer diagnosis they have to learn to try as grandma will be staying with them throughout her treatment. That’s music to Becca ears. With her grandma around, she’ll be able to get away with practically anything including, foregoing her participation in the Miss South Dakota Pageant.
It’s a harsh blow for Cressie, who has been living vicariously through her daughter but Becca has other plans and they don’t involve a Christian camp in Newcastle either… Try New York which is where Roy is headed. He has the task of spreading his father’s ashes. And for his father, the trip is worth every second. Woodstock 5.0 is where it began for everyone and as the identity of Cressie’s real father, the man Kit thought to be dead, comes to light, the family tree doesn’t expand so much as it is rediscovered in Bethel, NY.
You can never lose your family. American family comedy-drama script.
