LATERAL SINKING – COMEDY ABOUT A TELEVISION QUIZ SHOW
In this light-hearted one act play a husband and wife go on a television quiz show. After all there’s nothing like a little competition to save a marriage (in more ways than one). Jim and Daphne have been together for years, but are constantly bickering. When the opportunity comes for them to enter Daphne’s favourite game show – she views it as the ultimate showcase for Jim to put some work in, and FINALLY show up for them. But that quickly backfires as they deal with nerves, and a flirtatious host. In fact, the host is more than a little interested in Daphne, much to Jim’s annoyance! Time is ticking on their marriage! If they win it, they’ll get a once in a lifetime opportunity to go on a romantic getaway to a desert island. What WILL their final answer be in this comedy about a television quiz show?
