Description
GRUDGES – AN AMERICAN POLITICAL SATIRE
In Grudges, an American political satire, two brothers whose friendship has been sundered by the 2016 election get
together for a ‘bury-the-hatchet’ dinner. They solemnly agree to never let the words “Trump” or “Obama” pass through their lips during the course of the evening. But promises are made to be broken. And hatchets rarely stay buried for long. Joe Queenan
& T.J. Elliott’s satire that reviewers called “darkish fun” with “jokes machine-gun non stop” illuminates with delight and discomfort in this fast-paced two-acter the relations within families inflamed by the ongoing political divide.

There is also a door that leads to a powder room. On the other wall is a sound system with some LPs displayed, including the Beatles’ White Album. Stage left, behind the other wall, is a kitchen with counter and stove to the back.
