Description
TO SLEEP – A BRITISH DRAMA ABOUT SUICIDE (Digital Script)
With warmth, compassion and dark humour, ‘To Sleep’ shows how relationships can develop between different people no matter how appalling their shared experiences might be. The play opens in an A&E waiting area with two people, who have almost nothing in common. One is a girl in her late teens, the other a middle aged man. Neither of them seems comfortable being there until they find out that they’re both there for the same reason – suicide gone wrong. This leads to the two talking and deciding to help each other finish the job; a decision which causes an unexpectedly beautiful relationship to start to build in this British drama about suicide.
