Description
DOUBLE BOOKED – A FARCICAL COMEDY SET IN A CHURCH
A bride’s wedding day is usually perfect in every way. That is, of course, unless it’s been double booked with a funeral. Add in a groom who’s a no-show, a maid-of-honor who keeps getting
tangled up in the wedding dress train, a priest who refuses to quit hiding in his parish office, and a best man who has difficulty remembering where he put the wedding rings, and you no longer
have all the right ingredients for a celebration of true love, but the perfect recipe for a wedding cake-sized disaster of matrimonial proportions. Miscommunication, mistaken identities, and
absolute chaos revolving around the casket abound in Double Booked, a comedy not about tying the knot, but about trying to loosen its stranglehold. A farcical comedy set in a church.
