Description
THE VAMPIRE DRUDGERIES – TEEN COMEDY PLAY ABOUT A REBELLIOUS VEGETARIAN VAMPIRE
In this teen comedy play, Anton, the “son” of Count Dracula and his bride, is celebrating his birthday. Of sorts…
It’s not quite a birthday. It is, essentially, the day he died and was
reborn a vampire. It’s known as his “Deathday”. In ‘The Vampire Drudgeries’, a comedy in one act, we see that for every growing teenage vampire their greatest wish on their “Deathday” is
freedom! This isn’t an uncommon wish, whether you’re a ‘so called bloodsucking monster’ or an ordinary human teen. The freedom to go where he wants and do what he wants. How about eat what he wants? Well…..Anton is part of a coven including; zombies, witches, werewolves and even the Frankenstein monster, that has to live by ‘vegetarian’ rules, thus the freedom to truly accept his true nature would be priceless.
Luckily for Anton, the omens may just be in his favour. Unfortunately, for the rest of us that is not a good sign.
The rules became as unreal as those whom they were imposed on. Unreal, unimaginable and undead.
