THE LAST EVENING ON EARTH – DYSTOPIAN DRAMA SCRIPT
The world as we know it is ending. From tonight, there will be a permanent lights out. No more electricity. Ever Again. And everyone knows who is to blame. For some, it is those who are chipped – a once sought after novelty offering ease of living to those who had the microchip implanted in their hand. For some it is the fact that the world has run out of all fossil fuels. For some, the government in this dystopian drama script.
In the midst of all of this we meet a number of travellers trying to find their way on this, the last evening on earth. Eli – who carries a chip and who has escaped from the mental facility where he was imprisoned in order to find his sister April. Gift – on the hunt for the man who murdered his wife and ruined his career. Mort – a religious cult leader who promises movement to another world at the end of days. And they must do this before the world is forever dark.
