Description
PILLOW TALK – DRAMATIC MONOLOGUE OR DUOLOGUE FOR FEMALE ACTORS
In this dramatic monologue or duologue for female actors, we follow the life of a young girl as she grows up. She’s only two years old when her pillow, or Po-Po as she calls it is Barbie pink, and she carries it everywhere; through primary school when she comes home, cries and hugs her pillow, to her blossoming in her teenage years where the pillow is used for sleepovers and sometimes shared with boys.
As she grows up and get married we follow it into her pregnancy, subsequent loss of her baby and into the abusive marriage that follows. But even then her pillow will be there for her. The play can be performed by a single female actor or a younger girl and older women, as needs dictate.
