Biddies’ Borstal – A (before the murder) Murder Mystery in an old people’s home

$6.50

Welcome to the “Biddies’ Borstal”, as this annexe of an old person’s Home is not-so-affectionately known. Stashed away from the Home proper are the troublemakers and problem residents, under the disinterested eye of Philomena Crump, who’s merely marking time until the head of the Home, Mr Trumball, falls as madly in love with her as she is with him.
There are just a few problems: today, Mr Trumball is throwing a party for his shareholders and investors, and the old biddies (and one extremely flatulent male resident) will insist on getting in the way. The sex-obsessed gardener is determined to have his way with Philomena, and won’t let her get near the party. And, most worrying of all, a strange man with amnesia and an awful lot of cash in his wallet has wandered onto the grounds. While one of the residents, Katie, is convinced he’s her long lost grandson, and young care worker Lucy is immediately besotted with him, the other residents have unearthed more clues that point to a much more chilling conclusion – the man is an assassin! But who has he been sent to murder? A (before the murder) Murder Mystery in an old people’s home.
