It’s the meeting of the local Parish council and today, it’s an important one. They’re meeting with a huge property developer who has plans to build a string of new houses all the way from London into their part of Kent. The developers have sent a young representative to talk them through what’s going to happen. As far as she’s concerned it’s a done and dusted deal, but in reality she doesn’t know these villagers and how they’re prepared to fight for their piece of God’s country.
