Description
TREASURED PLANET – PLAY FOR KIDS ABOUT SAVING THE OCEAN (Digital Script)
When Ruby and Jade discover a treasure map in an old book that Ruby got for a birthday present, they almost set out in search of that elusive treasure. I say almost because, before they even get a chance to begin, the map is stolen by the wicked pirate known as ‘Captain Garbage’ who clearly wants the treasure for himself. It’s a well known fact that Pirates are attracted to Treasure, aargh – it’s in their blood in this play for kids about saving the ocean.
Luckily for the girls Captain Garbage is not the tidiest of fellows and leaves piles of garbage in his wake, making a sticky trail that the girls can follow. They find that the garbage is causing its own problems, and rescue a sea turtle from the Captain’s plastic bag he threw away on the way. Once they reach Rainbow Cove, they realise where the true treasure of the Ocean is.
