Description
THE HIPPODROME CAGE – PLAY ABOUT THE GREENWICH MUSIC HALL
It is a little known fact that there was once a cage at the back of the Greenwich Music Hall, back in the day when it used to be known as The Hippodrome. Many authors have pondered why there was a cage there at all and was it for animals or for people? If so, why would those people actually have allowed themselves to be put into a cage in the first place? Let’s take you back in time, back to the music hall era where we can meet some of those very same people and maybe learn a little more about it that you’d ever thought you would. A play about the Greenwich Music Hall.
