BESIDE THE KITCHEN TABLE – GHOST AND HORROR SCRIPT

Michael is Lily’s last hope. You see, she’s a ghost and has been for fourteen years. In this two-act drama, her haunt is the large kitchen of the Baker household and Michael is the son of Paul and Laura Baker. Lily has a score to settle and no one else but Michael is able to help her at this point. Robbed of her life at such a young age (she was a teenager) and unable to go on, Lily has spent her time trying to connect with the family that last saw her alive. While trying to be ‘’seen’’ she learns that she may yet have another chance at some things that were taken from her. As Lily and Michael grow closer, she reveals that she didn’t just disappear and that she was raped and murdered, right on the kitchen table where the family now sits in this ghost and horror script.

As for everything else she has missed out on, it isn’t up to her to decide what happens next but luckily for her, a ghost has another way to serve a helping of vengeance: her hands are cold and so is the heart that no longer beats. Thus, she must use the human to enact her revenge….
