SATAN CAN’T HAVE MY FRIED CHICKEN – DARK COMEDY PLAY SCRIPT (Digital Script)
Father Seacrest has decided to go into business for himself and has opened his own fried chicken joint with the help of Sister Blanche, his business partner. He’s also opened a funeral parlor across the street. While he manages the funeral parlor, Sister Blanche manages the fried chicken joint. It’s all working very well in this dark comedy play script.
Now as you all (should) know, the Colonel’s secret 11 herbs and spices are what has kept his chicken joint in business for nearly 100 years now. So Father Seacrest has come up with his own angle, his own secret ingredient, something that makes his fried chicken extra juicy and tender. And what better place to source it than over the road? After all, why shouldn’t the funeral business ‘help’ the chicken business? Pity about those pesky cops nosing around. But maybe he’ll placate them with some nice legs. And I don’t mean Sister Blanche’s!
Read the prequel to this story – If God ate Fried Chicken – where Father Seacrest and Sister Blanche go out on a date. To a chicken joint of course!
