The Summoning – audience participation sketch (COMEDY HORROR)

THE SUMMONING – AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION SKETCH (COMEDY HORROR)

It starts at the so called Production Meeting, with the meeting being called to order. Then suddenly from out of the crowd there erupts a pervert with naughty material on his phone (which luckily goes flat), followed by a witch spouting Latin curses, a creepy clown and a Zombie manifestation. To top it all off, the scary rental manager arrives demanding more money whilst the place erupts into chaos in this audience participation sketch.

The script relies on actors being placed within the audience and will be fun for everyone involved.

It is based on The Summoning, 2016: Haunted Attraction .

QUESTIONS – TEN MINUTE DRAMA FOR THREE ACTRESSES

In Questions, a ten minute drama for three actresses, Nina has a confession to make to her ‘friend’ Sandra, initially, and Rosie (who is not much of a friend either) as well. If she were honest to herself Nina would conclude two things, the first being: that she has a problem being honest and secondly: that her life is a bit of
a mess. In one hand are the lies and in the other is the mess she’s created with the lies. When both hands have her tied up, the only option she has left is to declare their contents… two days ago.

RHETORICAL – ONE ACT COUPLE DRAMA

In this one act couple drama, which is part of the well reviewed ‘Ugly Art’ series by Terry Roeche, a married couple is at an art gallery, viewing a red painting. They have not been as close to each other recently, and despite the fact that they are out together, both have concerns about their marriage and whether or not ‘It’s over.’

UGLY ART is a series of related scenes that take place before an imaginary red painting during an art gallery opening. The art is from monochromatic painter Barnard Surio.

The characters interpret the red painting, how they see the painting reflect who they are as people; loving, hopeful, hateful, jaded and so on …
