X’s and O’s – five minute comedy sketch for seniors

five minute comedy sketch for seniors

X’s and O’s is a five minute comedy sketch for an older couple set on their anniversary. They’re both slightly grumpy, as older people can be when they have outgrown the need for tact. The concept of the play is one in which the only dialogue spoken is the opposite of of what the other just said. The name X’s & O’s come from thinking how, as in Tic-Tac-Toe they’re opposites, but also Kisses & Hugs.

Hell Froze Over – Comedy Script about Sports

comedy script about sports

What are the perfect conditions for every American sports fan’s dreams to come true? Why, a temperature drop, of course in this comedy script about sports.

One so low that OJ Simpson (almost) finally confesses, Fahrenheit so
chilly that Magic Johnson is declared HIV free and thermometers correctly reflecting the icy ‘nature’ of things, to the degree that Tom Brady comes clean about Deflate gate. But this could only be a
reality if the temperature was affected in one place specifically, ahem, hell to be exact. On this day, in this sketch comedy, hell froze over and everything in the sporting world went to shit- AKA ….
mushrooms. So, have YOU ever wondered what would happen if hell were to freeze over? Find out tonight on the Chicago Radio- err – rather from Anchors 1, 2 and 3 in the play, Hell Froze Over.

Don’t hold your breath…No actually, today, feel free to do so!

The Duel – ten minute comedy for two actors

ten minute comedy for two actors

In this ten minute comedy for two actors, a valiant knight (who may be slightly past it in age) comes across a knight of a similar age. Being such a brave knight, he decides the thing to do is to challenge the other knight to a duel.

But you can’t just do that without protocol. You have to have a reason first. In these cases, the best thing to do is to start with a small insult. About his mother. Being a Saxon. If that doesn’t work, then perhaps telling him all about yourself and your mighty exploits throughout the land may help to inspire him to fight you. For example, how many dragons you singlehandedly vanquished, how many maidens you rescued from eternal imprisonment and how many of your mortal enemies died under your sword. That sort of thing.

But what do you do if the other knight does exactly the same thing?

ten minute comedy plays

Two stuck up veteran actors are waiting for the final audition for the part of Hamlet. They are waiting on a third actor, who just happens to be the young handsome lead for a well known local medical drama. When he arrives, it becomes apparent that the young actor actually knows very little about Shakespeare (But he did some in high school.) At first, the the two veterans are not amused, but then they decide to mess with him, thinking that he would never get the part, being so unskilled. However, their plans go awry when it turns out that the director plans to give the part to the handsome young actor in spite of all that, because he thinks it will attract an audience. And that on top of that, he wants them to help the young actor get the part.
