SECOND GLANCE – HOUR LONG ONE ACT PLAY

It was a long time ago, Sam was still a kid, when he lost his grandmother, Amelia, to a car accident. His grandpa and best friend Jimmy was too drunk and had to be picked up by Amelia at the bar. She never made it to the bar and none of Jimmy’s kids or grandkids (including Sam) have paid him any attention since. It’s a compelling premise, right? In fact Sam intends to use it for his book. Only snag is that he won’t get published without Grandpa Jimmy’s side of the story being told too. It’s time for Sam to take a trip back home and hear Grandpa Jimmy out. Sam will likely run into his ex-girlfriend too and the truth of it is that he cannot fathom what other facts lie waiting for him. The good, the inevitable and the ugly truth in this  hour long one act play.

THE GOLDEN YEARS – COMEDY SCRIPT FOR SENIORS

The ‘Golden Years,’ a short comedy script for seniors, captures a day in the life of the seniors at the local senior centre. From the regular Tuesday game of Euchre (or is it Pinochle?) to the complaints to management about the blocked toilet, the bus that was supposed to take them all to WalMart but hasn’t arrived yet, to the slightly hopeful older gentleman trying to get a date, and failing horribly, this short script, by a mature writer will amuse anyone who has been, is or knows anyone senior.

But the two busybodies don’t even have a clue what they are doing to the poor dead man’s reputation. A funny sketch for two older woman and 1N (waitress/waiter.)
