Childish Authors – one act comedy about the classroom for a mix of adults and kids

CHILDISH AUTHORS – ONE ACT COMEDY ABOUT THE CLASSROOM

You’re an author. You’ve written a book for children that you think they’ll love. So when the local school invites you to a book reading for nine year olds you jump at the chance. Poor you. You should never have done that. Apparently your book about modern moms with nannies and dads who drive SUV’s isn’t quite what you thought it was. The kids are quick to point out that there was no way that Holly would have paid for an ad to hire her own nanny and the fact that the mom posts pics of herself on the internet is obviously completely inappropriate for a children’s book in this one act comedy about the classroom.

Luckily their teacher has wised up after a year with these little brats and she knows just what to do to fix it. And it doesn’t involve raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens.

THE WORST LAW FIRM IN MERRY OLD ENGLAND – TWO ACT BRITISH FARCE

A merry two act British farce involving a bunch of senile, incompetent, drunken, dishonest lawyers, missing bank employees, and policemen seeking to circumvent the law. Add to this, a witch, a couple of conniving females, and a pair of criminals who may or may not be what they seem. At stake is a fraud of 1 million pounds but who was or were the perpetrator or perpetrators of the crime and where is the money? All of this presided over by a pompous ass of a judge.

MORE PASTA – TEN MINUTE COMEDY ABOUT FAMILY AND VEGANISM

Not everyone eats as much meat as they used to nowadays. Doctors warn it makes your cholesterol high, and let’s face it, there’s a lot more pressure from the vegans than there used to be. But Mike never dreamed it would enter his home. Mike is Italian and every good Italian boy knows that whenever he needs to, he can go home to momma and she’ll cook him a meal fit for a king. Spagetti and meatballs, for instance. But when Mike goes round to visit his folks, he finds that things are just a little different from what they used to be and momma is – well let’s just say she’s embraced her new lifestyle with a never seen before fervor.
