FOUR HOUR CASANOVA – ADULT COMEDY PLAY

Ruben has a little awkward problem. (Or, as he’d like to think, a BIG problem) Regardless of size, why is it um, awkward? Well: It’s awkward because Ruben is hard … and he’s hard man in a strange land. London to be exact. In just three acts, he has to deal with the consequences of the most potent Colombian Viagra in the world given to him by the unassuming hotel bellhop, Emilio. In the time that it takes for the er, stuff, to er, wear off, his ex-wife India, the love of his life Elizabeth and a potential new ingénue called Norma Desmond grace him with their presence in this adult comedy play.

Dealing with any sort of affliction (even chemically induced sexual potency) when you’re far from home is even more of a drag and Ruben won’t be headed back to the US anytime soon, with his movie premiering around the world.  In Four-Hour Casanova, a comedy, age catches up to a master of the universe, a sour memory rears its unnecessary head, a harsh truth is realised and one last chance is up for grabs.

Not even a cold shower can do him justice!

KILLERS WITH BENEFITS – FUNNY CRIME SCRIPT (OR – WHO IS ABOUT TO DO IT)

It’s a dark and stormy night, and the young, attractive, married Mandy is all alone at home (except for her security guard and live in maid, of course) sipping a long island iced tea when the announcement comes over the radio. A dangerous convict has escaped and is at large in the area. A moment later, the lights go out and somebody unknown takes her hostage. He’s armed, soaking wet and … well not quite as dangerous looking as you’d expect.

Featuring everything you’d expect from a funny crime script. A body in the bathtub! An escaped convict! A philandering husband! A cheating wife and her lover! A nefarious plot by more than one party to get rid of the other and by the end of the play, utter chaos.

Genre: Comedy, funny crime script

Type: Short two-act play

Length: Sixty minutes

Cast: Eleven: 4F, 7M

Ages of the actors: Adult

Suitable for: To view – all ages. To perform – adult but could be done by older teens

Set: Living room of an upper-middle class family. Furniture reminds one of IKEA –functional, minimalist, and characterless. Two watercolor paintings on the wall are an ostentatious attempt at emulating “The Water Lilies” – A failed attempt at best. Stage right, an over-sized, frosted glass door, is the main entrance door to the house. Three other doors upstage open into the kitchen, the master bedroom, and a guests’ bathroom. Two big windows, one close to the entry door reveals a fichus hedge in the distance, and the second window between two doors shows a street lamppost and a part of the hedge. Floor-length curtains hang on each side of the windows.

Level of difficulty: 7/10 – chaos at the end of the script

TWO-ACT DARK COMEDY PLAY

Death’s No Laughing Matter – Two Act Comedy Plays

Susan Denton’s movie career has ground to an abrupt halt when she finds out that she has been taken out of her latest movie entirely, to be replaced by a new girl, Kim, with very little experience. This makes her head ache even more than it has been over the past few days. Her day goes from bad to worse when she is confronted by a stranger in her apartment. He apparently broke through the window to get in, but also happens to be Azrael, the angel of death, coming to take Susan. (It turns out that her headache was more serious than she thought) But Susan isn’t ready to go and she’ll do anything to buy more time….

There is a well-stocked bar on stage left. A door on stage right leads to the front door. The back wall has a large window that offers the view of the city from the fourth or fifth floor. There are two doors, one on each side of the window. The door on the left leads to Susan’s bedroom. The door on the right goes to the front door. There is a small window by the side of the bar.
