Type: One act play

Genre: Ten Minute Ghostly Horror Script

Cast: 2M 1F

Ages of the actors: F in her twenties, M in forties, M in late seventies

Suitable for: All ages to watch and teens up to act in

Length: Ten Minutes

Set:  There is no elaborate set or scenery: the stage is almost bare, except for a table and two chairs (stage right), and a pile of wicker, costume baskets (stage left). The stage’s rear brick wall is visible. A large ‘NO SMOKING’ sign is on view, together with another sign: ‘DRESSING ROOMS’ pointing stage left. The faded safety curtain is suspended half mast. Tattered drapes and ropes hang haphazardly. The lighting is sparse and uneven. An air of neglect and decay pervades the fabric of this once-magnificent theatre.

Level of Difficulty: 7/10 – getting the uneasy feeling to start to settle on the audience as they realise what is happening, whilst carrying on a perfectly normal conversation
