The Banalities – British Comedy for a cast of four

$5.50

A British football fan and ordinary bloke, who is trying to be more highbrow and pretend he is into philosophy, (which he hates and doesn’t really understand, let’s be honest,) ends up being sucked into the very thing he despises. All to impress a girl, of course! He falls asleep, and when he wakes up, encounters none other than Adolf Hitler (wearing football shorts, naturally), as well as John Lennon and St. Francis of Assisi. These great (and not so great) men from history take him on a what looks like a philosophical journey, discussing music and sport but in the end turns out to be just a combative game of Subbuteo. But is it all a dream? Or is it real?
