God’s Madmen – Drama Horror about the Human Condition

$6.50

What if there was a Dracula story in which Dracula…never showed up? What if fear and paranoia drove the residents of Seward’s asylum to perform unspeakable acts – bloodletting; sexual infidelity; gender-confusion; without ever actually seeing the Prince
of Darkness? Using Bram Stoker’s novel as a starting point, God’s Madmen examines the ways in which each act of communication contains beginnings and the hope of a happy ending – and the seeds of that hope’s destruction. The residents of Seward’s Asylum are full of familiar characters. Each of them are driven by fear, lust, paranoia, and some unsatiable desire for… happiness. Mina, Harker, Renfield, Van Helsing, Lucy and more feel the undeniable presence of the Prince of Darkness. They each try to find the root and truth to their wants. Will they ever really be satisfied? A Drama Horror about the Human Condition.
