FORSAKEN – PLAY ABOUT GOOD AND EVIL. IN THE FLESH

A dark office room, troubled employees, an unnamed boss, and a mysterious guest. Forsaken by Vin Morreale, Jr., is a drama that is filled with questionable intentions and the hint of salvation.  But today a Guest is coming. In due course he arrives, in an unsettled and distressed state. This sets the tongues of Priscilla a 42-year-old loyalist, a spiteful 60-year-old Gregory, and 28- year old sexy Lucille wagging. Once the identity of the guest is confirmed – a rival ‘businessman’, deception and cajoling ensue. The Boss wants the Guest on his side, a new partner – a new resource and connections. But this is not a simple business. This is the business of desire and sins, which is absolutely and literally Hell, in this play about good and evil.

Greed, Pride, Lust and more are the traits exhibited in The Boss’ employees. This is how the tables turn. As the identity of the Guest is revealed and his affiliations to his father’s business become clear; there is more than a battle of wills but a battle of souls. Will the Boss finally turn the Guest to his side, with as much patience as the devil after 40 days in the desert? Will the Guest convince the employees to join his side instead? Or are both of these characters and their followers all forsaken?
