A Karmic Afternoon – Play about Meeting New People

$5.50

Rita’s just passing through this small town in Ohio when she stops at the local Cafe for a bite to eat and something to drink (definitely something not too expensive). The cafe is empty when she arrives and there’s good reason – they don’t serve any food till after 5p.m. when the youngsters come in. For now it’s just Rita and the slightly surly bartender, who goes by the name of Lionel.

He grudgingly gives her a half a glass of wine and her complimentary peanuts that she asks for. Rita is on her way to Cleveland and as she ahs to pass the time notices that Lionel is reading a script and offers to help him with it. Who knows where an offer like that will lead? A Play about meeting new people.
