THE HEIRS – BRITISH COMEDY SCRIPT

Margaret Hubbard is rich; painfully and decadently rich. Mrs. Hubbard is also dead and according to her will she is determined to drive her husband crazy (one last, exquisite time) with a to-do list that would have him claim the will’s contents only upon the doings on the list being completed. In fact, the rest of those on the receiving end of said will (who are interestingly enough mostly Hubbard
Manors’ staff) may only receive their inheritance should Mr. Hubbard succeed. This is a story we have seen time and again: what adversity can teach the hero about themselves, when they commit to taking on the challenge and the tricky consequences thereof. It’s a story about our hero, Jeremy Hubbard, husband to a recently deceased dragon and how he endeavours to fulfil his destiny and
claim what is ‘rightfully’ his – a temptingly sumptuous inheritance, of course. Our hero faces the dragon beyond the grave with the help of the staff and the fire-breathing lizard’s lawyer. And the
lesson? It begins and ends as the story does; with insatiability.

Murder is the mischief in this grand tale, when a burglar wanders into the Von Cash household but does not make it out alive (lucky for him if you ask me). The butler, the chef, the gardener, the maid,
the clairvoyant and even the madam of the house, Ms. Chattel Von Cash herself (an outrage if you ask her, darling), are all suspects when Detective Schenectady takes it upon himself (poor
unsuspecting sod) to investigate the case.

Old money meets new money madness as the detective discovers this will not be a routine examination of the events of this one day. From the body popping up in different locations within the house itself, to the chef insisting upon using it as his next main ingredient, Schenectady has to defy the amazing obstacles set before him by the extreme
personalities who run the Von Cash mansion. When the culprit is exposed, all hell not so muchbreaks loose, as explodes into something Von Cash would dread to see on her carpet, darling.

Truth will out! But don’t expect to love the consequences, darling.

NEXT – DRAMA  SCRIPT ABOUT A KILLER VIRUS

Life could not be any simpler as a college student… Until a killer virus starts devouring every person around you, day-by-day, with the high possibility that you may be next on the agenda. The grim reaper pays a small college town a visit in this play, in the form of an unknown illness whose modus operandi is “who’s next?” The human condition is isolated and explored when an eclectic group sticks together to try to survive and as the virus continues to strike with the boldness of one seeking vengeance, nature unhinges itself – revealing its true colours. Truly, some hues are more than the human eye could ever see…

The question for the living is: how will they serve the dead? A drama script about friendship, fear and survival.

Chronicles is a collection of one act plays based on the works of Edgar Allen Poe. These works include “Ligiea'” “Morella,” and “The Tell-Tale Heart.” Each is told through the eyes of a member of the Golden Raven Society. The Golden Raven Society is an organization established for persons with a fascination for the occult and the supernatural to come together and share in their passions on the subject . We are told, by the Baroness Ritzner Von Jung, Grand Master of the society, that it was Poe himself who created the Golden Raven Society.

HOLIDAY ISLAND – BRITISH COMEDY DRAMA ABOUT TYPICAL BRITISH HOLIDAYMAKERS

Holiday Island – a British comedy drama, is set in a typical if superior quality holiday hotel in a popular tourist resort, such as Tenerife. A group of newly arrived holiday-makers are just convening in the lobby. They are kitted-out in predictably loud holiday apparel, starting out as a pretty anonymous-looking bunch. As they check-in however, slowly getting to know each other and going about the business of enjoying their holidays, we detect the emergence of their true characters. The cultural and social aspects of their lives though interesting, are not nearly as captivating as their psychological depths. A poignant, yet funny British comedy drama that shows people as they really are when they are away from the comfort of home.

WOTCHA! GOTCHA! STEAM PUNK FUNNY PANTOMIME

In this zany but extremely funny steam punk pantomime script, loosely based on Alice in Wonderland, Alice Liddell is kidnapped by the villains Mad Hat and Moriarty and taken through the looking glass to an alternate universe and imprisoned in their Dirigible because they want to take over her world and they have a cunning plan to get their way.

Her friends Dodgson and Prince Leopold enlist the help of the slightly less famous Shamrock Holmes and his sidekick, James Watson to get her back to their side of the looking glass. Together with the Dame and the Baker Street Irregulars, they set out to rescue her and save their world from imminent disaster.

They win, of course!

A married couple still mourning the death of their child Abby who passed away fifteen years ago are both struggling to keep their relationship alive.
David works as an engineer and his latest job will see him return to the small town where he and Maria first met and fell in love. He brings Maria along with him with the idea to rekindle their love but also for Maria to reconnect with her Sister Elle, who she has not spoken to in over a decade.

Elle and Maria quickly make up, a little too quickly but Elle fears that her own daughter Sam fifteen years old is focusing too much on a foolish career as a fashion model and is risking destroying her education and chances of going to college. Elle enlists Maria to hang out with Sam and to find out more for her, hoping that Sam will open up more to Maria than she ever would to her.

Maria now starts a close relationship with Sam, unwittingly using her to fulfill her own desires to be a mother at long last. If Abby, the child she had lost all those years ago was still alive today she would be Sam’s age. Maria wants to help Sam become a model, going against everything that Elle had asked of her and tries to convince Sam to come away with her to London to begin her modelling future and where they can exist together as mother and daughter. Secrets and lies come pouring out as everyone fights for what they really want; to be happy.

YOU’RE NEVER TOO OLD – THREE ACT COMEDY SCRIPT

In this witty three act comedy script, two aging brothers are reunited after a sixteen year old argument only to pick up on their sibling rivalry where it left off.

Seventy year old Max Stuart has sold the family business, an antique store in New York, and has moved to the Sunshine State with his wife of fifty-one years, Florence. Recovering from a heart attack has made Max feel old and useless, which has made him bitter and unforgiving.

As Florence tries to nurse him back to good health, Barney, Max’s fraternal twin brother, shows up sixteen million dollars richer, with a twenty-three year old bride and a business opportunity for Max.

Barney, who has always been able to talk Max into anything, convinces Max to run one of Barney’s video stores, which Barney has purchased with his millions. Max ends up humiliated when he gets talked into dressing up in a Donald Duck costume to promote some new Disney videos. This causes old hostilities to surface and the brothers are at each other again.

Barney’s problems escalate when Trixie, his bride, announces that she is pregnant. This sends Barney to the hospital in what appears to be a heart attack of his own.

Florence has been running interference throughout this whole episode and manages to get Max and Barney alone so they can work things out, once and for all. After more sibling rivalry, they both realize that brothers should be like best friends and that there is nothing more precious than family.

“You’re Never Too Old” recently received a very successful run at the Cultural Park Theater in Cape Coral, Florida.

THE GOLD MEDALLION – THREE ACT PLAY FOR YOUNG CAST

Orphaned and wrongfully convicted of murder, James Fenton is determined to follow his ambition to join Captain James Cook’s crew aboard the Resolution, but his predicament forces him to stowaway!

However, all is not resolved as he becomes an accidental crew member of Cap’n Scargill’s tub, the Revolution, soon to become commandeered by Silas Tench, a villainous devil if there ever was one, Shiner his partner in piracy and a mutinous crew which lusts for gold!

The Gold Medallion, stolen by Silas Tench and his shipmate Shiner from Fenton’s Chandlery, is the key to the booty known as Fenton’s Gold, buried on San Angelo Island in the dangerous waters of the Caribbean.

There are many delightful characters in this adventure with plenty of scope for imaginative staging. The seafaring times of the late 1700’s must be captured by the costuming and overall flavour of the era.
