BAD NEWS, PLUTO – COMEDY SKETCH FOR TEN ACTORS

It’s the annual planetary meeting and the planets are awaiting the arrival of Pluto, the ninth planet. Or at least until last week. Now Pluto has been reclassified and it’s their job to let him know that from this day forward Pluto will no longer be considered a real planet, merely a dwarf planet in this comedy sketch for ten actors.

But there are perks. After all, the dwarf planets get to hold their own dwarf planetary meeting, too. At a club. With beer and strippers. Maybe being a dwarf planet won’t be so bad after all…

WOULD YOU LET ME FIN……….ish? SKIT FOR TWO WOMEN

A skit for two women about a semi famous psychic, Martha and her ardent fan, Amy.  Amy who is just walking down the street bumps into Martha and instantly recognizes her from her book, “Psychic Dreams and Premonitions.” They get to talking, although to be fair, neither lets the other finish her sentences, and keeps interrupting the other.

Amy, who fancies herself as an amateur psychic tells Martha about her most recent dream. About Martha. Martha starts out with an interpretation but doesn’t get a chance to respond.  Then Amy does the same thing until they are both slightly annoyed with each other.  Martha decides to get rid of Amy. But how will Martha she do it?  Well, in the most elaborate way possible. Using a psychic vision, of course!

In this skit on The Little mermaid, Arial, our little mermaid (Not to be confused with the font) has her eye set on Prince Error (an unfortunate name that he couldn’t really help) who is a human. The only way she can get married to him and have lots of little merchildren is to become human. Since she is just sixteen, she just doesn’t have a checking account or even a credit card so she gives the evil sea queen, ”Umbrella” her voice as payment.

But the story ends well – she gets her voice back. Although she kind of sounds like Pinky Pie, nobody minds, really. As long as she doesn’t sing. Ever!! And they live happily ever after.
